# Geekvape Wenax, the range and its pods mapped out

> Geekvape Wenax explained family by family, from the M, Q and S lines to the older K, H and U, with the pod that fits each model on UK shelves.

Wenax M2, Q2, Q Ultra, S3 Evo. On a retailer's page the names blur together, and so do the boxes. Yet the Geekvape Wenax label covers devices that differ in shape, in power and, above all, in the pod they accept. Order a pod for the wrong model and it simply will not seat. The sensible way in is to read the range like a map, one family at a time.

## What a Geekvape Wenax actually is

A Geekvape Wenax is a compact, rechargeable pod device built first and foremost for a tight mouth to lung draw (MTL), with a pod you fill yourself from a bottle of e-liquid. The name does not refer to a single device. It covers a whole range split into families, each one identified by a letter.

Those families do not share pods, so an M pod only fits an M device. In October 2026 the manufacturer's range page lists eight models, the Q2, M2, M Starter Kit, Q Ultra, S3 Evo, Q Pro, S3 and M1, while older devices live on through pods that Geekvape still sells.

## Six families, six pods that do not mix

The letter after the Wenax name is the most useful detail on any listing, because it tells you the family and therefore the pod the device will take.

### The M family, a slim tube with nothing to set

The M1 and M2 are slim tubes 16 mm across. With no button and no screen, the M2 fires when you draw and adjusts its own power, as the M1 did before it. At 34 g, the M1 carries 800 mAh, while the M2 moves up to 1,200 mAh and tops out at 16 W.

The M Starter Kit takes a modular route, pairing a 400 mAh stick with a 2,500 mAh battery compartment that can recharge it up to five times, a design that won a Red Dot Design Award in 2025. Also rated at 400 mAh, the M1 Mini takes the same M pod.

### The Q family, screens and higher output

The largest and most technical family runs up to 25 W on the original Wenax Q and the Q Mini, and up to 30 W on the Q Pro, Q Ultra and Q2. Four of those five devices show their settings on a screen.

The Q Pro pairs draw or button firing with a 0.96 inch screen and three airflow positions. On the Q Ultra the screen becomes a 2.51 inch touch panel and the cell grows to 1,300 mAh, while the Q2 returns to a single button and 1,250 mAh in a body that mixes metal and leather.

### The S family, a pen with three power levels

The S devices take a pen shape, with 1,100 mAh in both the S3 and S3 Evo. The Evo fires on the draw or on the button and offers three power levels up to 18 W. Its S pod also fits the older Wenax Stylus and Wenax S-C, a link Geekvape highlights itself.

### K, H and U, the older lines

None of these three families appears on the range page, but their pods are still listed on Geekvape's own store. The K1 (600 mAh), K1 SE and K2 (1,000 mAh) share the K pod, the H1 (1,000 mAh) has its own, and the U pod used by the Wenax U also fits the Sonder U, Aegis U, Obelisk U and Digiflavor U.

## Which pod fits which Geekvape Wenax

The table below brings together the pod listings Geekvape publishes on its store. Read it from left to right, from the family of your Geekvape Wenax to the pod that matches it.

| Family | Pod | Wenax models | Coils | Other compatible devices |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| M | M, 2 ml | M1, M1 Mini, M2, M Starter Kit | 0.8 and 1.2 ohm | none |
| Q | Q, 2 ml in TPD form | Wenax Q, Q Mini, Q Pro, Q Ultra, Q2 | 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 and 1.2 ohm | Sonder Q, Sonder Q 2, Aegis Hero Q |
| S | S, 2 ml | Stylus, S-C, S3, S3 Evo | 0.8 and 1.2 ohm | none |
| K | K, 2 ml | K1, K1 SE, K2 | 0.8, 1.0 and 1.2 ohm | none |
| H | H1 | H1 | 0.7 and 1.4 ohm | none |
| U | U, 2 ml | Wenax U | 0.7 and 1.1 ohm | Sonder U, Aegis U, Obelisk U, Digiflavor U |

Q pods come in 2 ml and 3 ml versions. Under the Tobacco and Related Products Regulations 2016, tanks and pods are capped at 2 ml in the UK, and nicotine containing e-liquid at 20 mg per ml in 10 ml bottles.

Geekvape flags the split on its listings as "3mL/2mL (TPD)", and its store carries UK TPD versions of several pods. The 2 ml pod is therefore the one that belongs on a British shelf.

The 0.4 ohm Q pod, sold only as a side fill version, is rated for 25 to 30 W. On a Wenax Q or Q Mini, both capped at 25 W, it therefore runs at the very bottom of its range, while the Q Pro, Q Ultra and Q2 cover all of it. On those two older devices, staying between 0.6 and 1.2 ohm makes more sense.

The latest change to the platform is a Q pod with a replaceable coil, so a worn coil no longer means throwing the reservoir away with it.

## Where the Wenax models agree and where they part ways

Every Wenax shares a common base, that of a pocket device built around a tight draw, and most of them simply fire when you inhale. The recent models (M2, Q Pro, Q Ultra and Q2) charge through a USB-C port.

Three things separate them. Firing happens on the draw on the M1, M2 and Q Mini, on the draw or the button on the Q Pro and S3 Evo, and on the button on the original Wenax Q.

Power is automatic on the M family, set in three levels on the S3 Evo and adjustable on the Wenax Q, Q Ultra and Q2. The draw stays tight on the M devices, while the Q family opens up to a restricted direct lung draw (RDL) thanks to adjustable airflow and lower resistance coils.

That platform logic, where the pod matters more than the device, is not unique to Geekvape. The same principle runs through [OXVA's family of pods](/uk/oxva-vape/), and our survey of [new vape kits](/uk/new-vape-kits/) makes pod compatibility the decisive test for any launch.

## Choosing a Geekvape Wenax family for the way you vape

The right starting point for a Geekvape Wenax is not the newest model but the way you draw and how much adjustment you are happy to live with.

For a tight draw with nothing to touch, the M family is the most direct route, with the M2 reduced to a pod, a draw and a choice of two coil values. Slim enough to vanish into a pocket, it also fits the compact formats covered in our guide to choosing a [vape case](/uk/vape-case/).

Anyone who wants to open the airflow, customise the device or move towards a looser draw will look at the Q family instead. Between the Q Pro, Q Ultra and Q2, the choice then comes down to the interface, since all three share the same pod and the same maximum output.

The S family offers some adjustment without a screen, while the K, H and U lines mainly concern owners of an existing device looking for the right pod. One last option sits outside the range, since the Aegis Hero Q and Sonder Q take the same pods as the Wenax Q models, so switching between Geekvape ranges does not mean switching pods.

## FAQ

A few practical questions come up again and again once the pod question is settled.

### Should I pick a 0.8 or a 1.2 ohm pod?

Geekvape describes 1.2 ohm as the value for a tight MTL draw and 0.8 ohm as a balance between flavour and throat hit. On M pods the first runs between 10 and 13 W, the second between 14 and 16 W. Trying both with the same e-liquid is the simplest way to decide.

### Which e-liquid suits a Wenax pod?

For the Q Mini, the manufacturer mentions use with nicotine salts as well as freebase nicotine. On a tight draw, balanced propylene glycol and vegetable glycerine blends soak the wick more readily than very thick liquids, which tend to cause burnt hits.

### How quickly does a Wenax charge?

The recent models accept 5 V and 2 A charging. Geekvape quotes 80 per cent in 40 minutes for the M2 and in about 30 minutes for the Q2, while the older M1 makes do with a 5 V, 1 A port.

### Do drip tips swap between models?

Not always. The S pod on the S3 Evo accepts three tips, including the M1 plastic tip, which creates a bridge with the M family, and the M2 is listed as compatible with M series pods and tips. Beyond those stated cases, it is best not to assume anything.

### How can I check a Wenax is genuine?

Geekvape supplies a scratch-off authentication label that reveals a 14 character code mixing letters and numbers, to be entered on the verification page of the manufacturer's site. A rejected code is a reason to contact the seller before using the device.

## Choosing a Geekvape Wenax, start with the pod

Across the Wenax range the device changes from one generation to the next while the pod stays put. Choosing a family therefore means committing to a pod format, a coil range and a way of firing for a long while. The letter on the model tells you most of it and the compatibility table does the rest. A well chosen Geekvape Wenax starts with the pod, a rule that holds across the whole refillable pod market.
